Two years later and $140,000 poorer, what exactly have I learned and accomplished from business school? Was it all worth it? And why don't I have a job yet? Surely a Cornell MBA degree means something right? Riiiiiiight?
In exactly 7 days, I will be sitting in a college football stadium with several thousand other graduating Cornellians as we listen to some speech that is supposed to inspire us to do great things.
I heard this sort of speech 7 years ago when I graduated undergrad from New York University. Did NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly and CNN's Christiane Amanpour fail to inspire me back then?
Or did I fail them?
I currently have no job and in 43 days my apartment lease expires. Did I mention that my health insurance also runs out in 3 months? And in the meantime, I have to figure out what to do with my life. Again.
So like any other person, I figured that I would make the most of this absurd and somewhat comedic situation and start a blog about it. This blog will document my life for two years after business school as I figure out where to go from here. This is my story and I hope you enjoy the ride!
